We offer you to make the unforgettable journey to the Greek mainland. This trip starts with a ferry -boat that will take us to the small port town in the mainland called Igoumenitsa, from where we will continue our trip by the comfortable bus on Egnatia highway .

We will make a small stop in a foothill area of majestic Meteora cliffs in an international touristic town called Kalambaka, where we are going to visit a famous icon shop to discover the old secrets of creating hand -painted icons of Crete and Byzantine school masters. After the icon shop we will have time for lunch. After that, eventually, we will go to the top of worldwide famous cliffs and mounts called Meteora. We are going to visit 2 ancient monasteries: Saint Varlaam and Rousanou nunnery. We are also going to make photo -stop in an observation place to enjoy the fascinating view of the 8th wonder of the world – Meteora, and breathtaking view of Fessalia valley.

From the 14th century until nowadays this place is known as a unique place of Christian pilgrimage. From one side -Meteora is a wonderful creation of nature, that must be seen by your own eyes to believe it can exist. From another – Christian monasteries built on the tops of gigantic precipitous cliffs, majestically looking to the sky, creating unbelievable feelings mixed with fear, shock and admiration! Until nowadays the history of building monasteries remains a mystery…

On the way back the ferry-boat will give you a chance to enjoy the sunset.
