Bari
We suggest going to Italy, where you can see two wonderful cities at once: Bari and Alberobello. Bari is not in vain considered to be one of the main centers of pilgrimage in Europe. In this city there is the Church of St. Nicholas the Wonderworker, whose myrrh-streaming relics rest in the basilica, where the flow of pilgrims does not stop to venerate the shrine and receive a drop of miraculous myrrh. Saint Nicholas the Wonderworker is considered one of the five most revered saints in the world. At the end of the prayer service, lunch will be waiting for you. Then you will visit Alberobello, a unique city where you will see unusual, with conical roofs, fabulous houses – trulli. (UNESCO has listed the trulli as a World Heritage Site) The low-rise houses resemble the dwellings of fabulous gnomes. Shops and taverns are now open in many trulli, where you can buy original souvenirs and gifts. You will learn the history of the trulli and this part of Italy while walking along Alberobello. Upon returning to Bari, boarding the ferry, where a hot dinner will be waiting for you.
The city of Bari, for many years now, has attracted a large number of not only tourists, but also pilgrims from all over the world, becoming a place revered by the Orthodox Church.
